NATALIE SHEN, ATTORNEY

Natalie’s current practice focuses on medical malpractice litigation defending hospitals, medical facilities, physicians, and other providers. Prior to law school, Natalie demonstrated her passion for healthcare by working as a certified nursing assistant at a long-term care facility where she was the primary caretaker to dozens of residents. Additionally, Natalie has a degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology. While in law school, Natalie externed for a prominent Washington health care provider where she worked with the legal team on both litigation and transactional matters. Between Natalie’s practical experience in health care and her scientific background, Natalie effectively advocates for her clients with a unique insider perspective.

Prior to joining Fox Ballard, Natalie externed with the Honorable Richard A. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. In that role, Natalie gained invaluable exposure to the complexities of federal civil litigation and gained diverse experience in areas such as FTCA claims, copyright law, insurance disputes, and general litigation.
